Gallery D - Models by Ken Bettis

Picture to be added.

1/16th Tamiya Tiger I:  Modeled after Tiger 221 from the 2nd Company, Schwer Panzer-Abteilung 508 soon after it's transfer from the Kompanie Meyer in Austria.  The base color used was Tamiya's Dark Yellow with light over spray of Dark Green camouflage pattern.  The tow cables were scratch built and left partially stowed.  Note the tow cable stowage brackets less the tow cable and field worn tools.  It is the small details like this that make a model unique.

1/15th  Bandai Panzer IV f2:   Modified to use the Tamiya DMD T-01 controller.  Future modifications: Turret rotation, Tamiya's MF-01 sound system and additional details.  Also in the future, a new overall gray paint scheme.

1/15th  Bandai Stug IV:  Modified to use the Tamiya DMD T-01 controller.  Future modifications: Sound, additional details and a new "ambush" camouflage paint job.

1/10th  Sankyo Japanese Type 74:   This is a big and heavy tank.  It is all metal, including the tracks, and weighs in at 40 lbs.  It is 9.5" tall, 12.75" wide, and 36" long including the barrel.  The tracks are 2.25" wide.  The tank is powered by a OS MAX 40SR gas engine.
